Discipleship Under the Trees
20 September 2026
How small Bible-study circles in Bugiri are turning new believers into faithful disciples who make disciples.
Under the shade of the trees, a circle of plastic chairs becomes a classroom. Open Bibles rest on laps, and new believers learn to read, pray and apply God's Word together.
Why discipleship matters
We don't simply want to reach people. We want to see lives transformed and disciples multiplied. Jesus called us to "go and make disciples" — not just converts.
How the circles work
- Groups meet weekly in villages around Bugiri
- A trained leader guides each study
- Members are encouraged to share what they learn at home
- Mature members are raised up to lead new circles
Disciples who make disciples
Our hope is that every person who joins a circle will one day lead one. That is how one life becomes many, and how the Gospel spreads from village to village.
